Satago, an online platform which automates credit control, raised a $1 million from E-merge, BDMI. Edward Wray and William Reeve.

Mobile wallet marketing company Passworks raised $1 million from Portugal Ventures and Faber Ventures. 

Online presentation service Bunkr raised $1.4 million (€1 million) from Idinvest Partners, Daniel Marhely and Xavier Niel.

Tracour, a provider of stock market research tools, raised a $335,000 seed round of funding led by Unlimited Capital, with participation from Brad Wardell.

SolveBio, which delivers reference data used by hospitals and companies to run genomic applications, raised $2 million from Andreessen Horowitz, Max Levchin, SV Angel, and other investors.

SocialRank, a tool for brands and individuals to find out more about their social media followers, raised $1 million in a round led by Vaizra Investments with participation from Advancit Capital, BOLDstart Ventures, Social Starts, Iowa City Capital Partners and a bunch of angel investors.

Talkspace, which enables patients to text with their professional, licensed therapist, raised$2.5 million round of funding from Spark Capital and SoftBank Capital.

ESTmob, the company behind cross-platform file-sharing service Send Anywhere, raised $1 million in seed funding led by SaeMin Ahn, along with participation from Andrew McGlinchey, Andy Warner, and two Korean angel investors.

Online personal shopping site The Cloakroom raised €1.2m from Connect Ventures, along with angel investors Hein Pretorius and Kees Koolen.

Airport ground transportation search engine Mozio raised $750,000 from Gregory Turley, Jeff Clarke, HOWZAT Partners, J.R. Johnson, Daniel Saul, Ross Weber and Bhanu Chopra.

YouEarnedIt, an employee engagement platform, raised $1.5 million in seed funding from WPP and Capital Factory. 

First Opinion, which allows patients to text their doctors, raised $1.4 million from True Ventures and Felicis Ventures.

OLSET, a big data travel tech firm, received $1.1 million in seed funding from investors that included Montage Ventures, Digital Garage and 500 Startups. 

Contract Live, a service for managing and sign contracts in a webmail interface, raised $1.4 million from Ingenico founders, Jean-Marc Tassetto, Arnaud Vaissié, Bruno Deschamps and more. 

Analytics startup CrowdSystems raised a $1 million round of funding led by InVenture Partners.

 

Early stage

Communications platform Sinch raised a $12 million round from a roster of investors that included Index Ventures and Balderton Capital.

Rewards community Swagbucks raised $60 million from Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) in its first ever funding round.

BlazeMeter, an app performance testing platform, raised $6.5 million in Series A funding led by YL Ventures, along with Glilot Capital Partners.

Darby Smart, a provider  of DIY projects and supplies, raised$6.3 million Series A funding round led by Maveron, with participation from Forerunner Ventures, CAA Ventures and other existing investors.   

BodeTree, an online service that helps small business owners better understand their finances, raised $2 million in Series A funding led by Greenline Ventures and other private investors. 

LearnSprout, a data analysis service for K-12 schools, raised $4.2 million in Series A funding from Formation 8, Samsung Ventures and Justin Tan.

Boxed, a mobile commerce firm that provides discounts for warehouse club shopping, raised $6.5 million in Series A funding led by Greycroft Partners, First Round Capital and Signia Venture Partners, with ENIAC Ventures, Social Starts, BoxGroup, Owen Van Natta and David Ko participating.

Auxmoney, a German online peer-to-peer lending marketplace, raised $16 million in funding led by Foundation Capital, with participation from Partech Ventures, Scott Bommer, Index Ventures and Union Square Ventures. 

Predictive analytics platform SalesPredict raised $4.1 million in Series A funding from Yandex, KGC Capital and existing investors.

Wochit, a cloud based video creation platform, raised $11 million in funding led by Marker LLC, with Cedar Fund, Greycroft Partners, and Redpoint Ventures participating.

Food delivery service SpoonRocket raised $11 million in a funding round led by Foundation Capital, with participation from General Catalyst.

Soldsie, which helps brands grow online sales through Facebook and Instagram, raised a $4 million round led by First Round Capital, with participation from SoftTechVC, Lerer Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Great Oaks Ventures, e.Ventures, 500 startups, and other angels.

Crowd sourced software review service G2 Crowd raised $2.3 million in a round led by Chicago Ventures and Hyde Park Ventures, along with Tim Kopp, Andrew Filipowski, Greg Jones, Chris Shutts and Matt Gorniak.

Netskope, a provider of cloud app analytics and policy enforcement, raised a $35 million Series C funding round led by Accel Partners, with Lightspeed Venture Partners and The Social+Capital Partnership also participating. 

Pantheon, a website platform for professional developers, designers, and marketers, raised $21.5 million in Series B financing led by Scale Venture Partners with participation from OpenView Partners, Foundry Group and First Round Capital.

OpenDNS, a provider of cloud-delivered security, raised $35 million from Greylock Partners, Sequoia Capital, Sutter Hill Ventures, Glynn Capital, Cisco, Evolution Equity, Lumia Capital, Mohr Davidow Ventures, and Northgate Capital.

The Sure Chill Company, the developer of refrigeration systems for vaccines, was awarded $1.4 million by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

StepOne, an adaptive self-service company, raised $4 million in Series A funding led by LiveOak Venture Partners with participation from Silverton Partners. 

Timeful, a stealth intelligent time manager, raised a $6.8 million) Series A round of funding led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Greylock, Data Collective, Pitango, A-Grade Investments and others.

BitPay, a business solution provider for Bitcoin, raised $30 million led by Index Ventures. Horizons Ventures, Founders Fund, Felicis Ventures, RRE Ventures, TTV Capital, Sir Richard Branson and AME Cloud Ventures also participated.

Shareablee, a social business intelligence provider, raised $6 million in Series A funding led by SoftBank Capital, with participation from Valhalla Partners.

 

Late stage

Family communications and locator app Life360 raised $50 million in a Series C round of funding led by ADT.

Real-time data analytics startup Chartbeat raised $3.1 million funding led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Index Ventures, with Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Freestyle Capital, LAUNCH Fund, SoftTech VC and Lowercase Capital participating.

Venture capital firm GGV Capital raised $620 million for its fifth venture capital fund, GGV Capital V.

Fraud-detection service Sift Science raised an $18 million Series B round led by Spark Capital.

Instart Logic, a provider of a cloud-based service for web publishers, raised $26 million in Series C funding led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the round, along with Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures and Tenaya Capital.

Multi-stage venture and growth equity investment firm Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) raised $1.2 billion for its latest fund, Norwest Venture Partners XII.

Anaplan, a provider of cloud-based modeling and planning solutions, raised $100 million in a round led by DFJ Growth, along with Brookside Capital, Coatue Management, Sands Capital Management, Workday, Granite Ventures, Meritech Capital Partners, salesforce.com, and Shasta Ventures.

Adform, an ad tech partner for media agencies, trading desks, advertisers and publishers, raised $5.5 million in Series B funding from Via Venture Partners.

Attensity, a provider of corporate insight solutions based on proprietary data contextualization, raised $90 million in equity financing from an international private equity fund and financial advisor company.

Skyscape Cloud Services Limited, a provider of assured cloud solutions, secured a £4 million minority stake investment from Business Growth Fund.

OpenGov, which allows local government bring their data to the cloud, raised $15 million led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Formation 8and Thrive Capital also participating.

PeopleDoc, a provider of Global HR Governance solutions, raised $17.5 million in Series B funding from Accel Partners. Alven Capital and Kernel Investissements also participated.

Singapore-based venture capital firm Monk’s Hill Ventures launched with a SG$100 million (US$80 million) venture fund.

Visual social network Pinterest raised $200 million from Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Fidelity, FirstMark Capital, SV Angel, and Valiant Capital Partners.

Blade, a startup incubator with a focus on design principles, raised $20 million in funding from Accel and General Catalyst.

Venture capital firm  Sierra Ventures closed its 10th fund at $145 million. The fund will be called Fund X.
