Speakaboos, a subscription based service for children’s interactive storybooks, disclosed its seed and Series A funding, which totaled $6.2 million. The funding came from [212]MEDIA. Advancit Capital, Kyowon Group, Gerald Hughes and Rick Segal.
Content recommendation engine Parse.ly raised an additional $5 million in a series A funding round led by Grotech Ventures with participation from Blumberg Capital, ff Venture Capital, and FundersClub.
GuideSpark, which helps deliver HR communications and training solutions, raised $5 million in funding from Storm Ventures and IDG Ventures,

Customer loyalty and marketing platform Belly raised a $12.1 million in Series B funding from Andresseen Horowitz, Lightbank, NEA, DAG Ventures, Cisco Systems and 7-Eleven.
Couchbase, a NoSQL database technology company, closed a $25 million Series D funding round led by Adams Street Partners and joined by Accel Partners, Mayfield Fund, North Bridge Venture Partners, and Ignition Partners.
Cloud security automation company HyTrust raised $18.5 million in Series C funding from Intel Capital, Fortinet, VMware and In-Q-Tel. Granite Ventures, Cisco, Trident Capital and Epic Ventures also participated.
Global media and advertising company Martini Media raised $14 million in a round led by Venrock, Granite Ventures, Reed Elsevier Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank.
Pure Storage, an enterprise storage array company, closed an oversubscribed $150 million Series E funding round led by T. Rowe Price, Tiger Global Management and other public market investors, with participation from Greylock Partners, Index Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Samsung Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures.
Credorax, a proprietary payment platform, raised a $40 million growth equity investment from FTV Capital.
