Marinanow, an online platform for people who want to book berths for their boats, raised €370,000 in a round led by United Ventures.

Gaming studio JuiceBox Games raised $2.5 million from  Initial Capital, General Catalyst, Index Ventures, and Mavron, and individual investors includes Scott Dale and John Riccitiello.

mxHero, which brings the App Store to e-mail systems,  raised $500,000 in a round by led White Star Capital, with GW Holdings, Esther Dyson, Ari Kushner, Actinic Ventures and an unamed strategic Miami-based investor group.

Voyat, a CRM platform for hotels, launched with $1.8 million in seed funding from Metamorphic Ventures, Eniac Ventures, BoxGroup and Brett Crosby.

Thinknum, a builder of financial analysis products, raised a $1 million seed round led by Pejman Mar Ventures. 

Pogoseat, a service for fans who attend sporting events to upgrade their seats, raised $2.3 million from Structure Capital, SK Ventures, Zelkova Ventures, KDDI and Global Brain Open Innovation Fund, Broad Strategy Fund, Tylt Lab, Universal Music Group, Jeff Clarke, Joshua Schacter, Kima Ventures, XG Ventures, the owners of the Sacramento Kings, and the minority owner of the Golden State Warriors.

Viral video platform ViralGains raised $2.8 million led by Hub Angels, with participation from 45 investors, including 500 Startups’ Dave McClurePallasite Ventures, Launch Capital and angels Ty DancoJoe CarusoJay Batson and Semyon Dukach.

Restaurant reservations app Resy raised $2 million in a round led by Vayner/RSE and Lerer Ventures, with participation from TomsCapital/Panarea Capital, A-Grade Holdings, Slow Ventures, Ken Austin, and a few others.

Privlo, a public marketplace for private real estate loans, raised $3.8 million in seed funding from Spark Capital and QED Investors. 

Stellar, a decentralized protocol for sending and receiving money in any pair of currencies, raised $3 million from Stripe. 

Wevorce, provider of an innovative technology platform and process to make every divorce amicable, raised $1.7 million from from several investors including Foundation Capital and Sam Altman.

BIGWORDS.com, an online shopping service that automatically integrates crowdsourced coupons, raised $300,000 from Lighter Capital.

ZipZap, a global payment network, raised $1.1 million from AngelList Syndicate, 500 Startups and Blumberg Capital.

Smart smoke alarm company Birdo raised $700,000 in seed funding from Jason Calacanis and Eric Ries.

Restaurant payment app Settle raised a $1.5 million round of funding from Life.SREDA.

 

Early stage

Leanplum, a mobile app analytics and optimization company, raised a $4.8 million Series A funding round from Shasta Ventures.

Hyperlocal online rental marketplace ABODO raised $1.25 million in Series A financing, led by American Family Ventures. 4490 Ventures and Lakewest Venture Partners also participated. 

SportsManias, a web platform and mobile app that allows sports fans to follow their favorite teams, raised $3.5 million from Mas Equity Partners and a private investor.

Geekatoo, a door-to-door tech support company, raised $1.7 million in a round funding round that included 500 Startups, Eric Ries, DeNA, China Rock, Microventures, and Wefunder.

Digital health start-up Kurbo Health raised $5.8 million in Series A funding, led by Signia Venture Partners. Other investors include Data Collective, Bessemer Venture Partners and Promus Ventures.

Coub, a Russian startup for creating Gif-like short looped music videos, raised $2.5 million from Vaizra Investments and Vyacheslav Mirilashvili.

Kontakt.io, a solution to help the visually impaired navigate public spaces, raised $2 million from Sunstone Capital, 

GetYourGuide, a platform for tours and activities, raised a $4.5 million in a round led by Kees Koolen and Fritz Demopoulos. Sunstone Capital also participated.

Stealth e-commerce company Jet raised a $55 million round led by NEA with participation from Accel Partners, Bain Capital Ventures and MentorTech Ventures.

ExCo, builder of financial service platforms, raised $3.3 million in round led bu Arbor Ventures, with participation from CyberAgent Ventures, Recruit Strategic Partners, 500 Startups andCherubic Ventures.

 

Late stage

Indian e-commerce company Flipkart raised a $1 billion funding round led by Tiger Global and Naspers, with Accel Partners, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Sofina and GIC also participating.

ChoiceStream, a full-service media-buying company that focuses on programmatic ad buying, raised a $7.5 million in Series B funding round led by Fred Alger Management, with participation from Steve Johnson Family Trust.

Dstillery, provider of cross-device audience targeting for brands, raised a $24 million Series C round led by NewSpring Capital, with participation from U.S. Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures and Venrock.

Easy Taxi, a e-hailing service based in Brazil, raised $40 million in Series funding led by Phenomen Ventures with participation from Tengelmann Ventures,.

Green Charge Networks, an intelligent energy storage company, raised $56 million from K Road DG.

BaubleBar, an online jewelry retailer, raised $10 million in Series B funding. Burch Creative Capital led the round with participation from Aspect Ventures, Triplepoint Ventures, Comcast Ventures, Accel Partnersand Greycroft Partners.

RockYoua cross-platform advertising network for games, raised $10 million from FastPay.

Interactive entertainment company Kabam raised a $120 million funding round from Alibaba Group.

Venture capital firm Venrock Associates closed a new fund, its seventh, with $450 million of capital. 

PagerDuty, an alarm dispatching service for system administrators and support teams, raised a $27.2 million Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Andreessen Horowitz, Baseline Ventures, and Harrison Metal also participated.

Moogsoft, a collaborative situation management for web-scale IT operations, raised $11.3 million in a round led by Wing Venture Capital. Existing investors, including Redpoint Ventures, also participated.

Personal genetics company 23andMe received a $1,367,504 grant from the National Institutes of Health.

Eagle Eye Networks,  a cloud video surveillance solution, raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding from MSD Capital.

Proteus Digital Health, a digital medicines company, raised $52 million from undisclosed investors. 

ThetaRay, a provider of big data analytics solutions, raised a $10 million round from General Electric, Jerusalem Venture Partners and Poalim Capital Marketsparticipated, as well as new financial and strategic investors.

Bright Computing, a provider of cluster management software, raised a $14.5 million Series B financing co-led by DFJ and DFJ Esprit with participation from Prime Ventures and ING Corporate Investments.

Airbnb, the company that turned residences into temporary hotel rooms, raised a $475 million round of funding from Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz.

Financial management platform 8 Securities raised a $9 million Series B fromVelocity Capital and Leitmotiv Private Equity.
