What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

It's like being a frontiersman with none of the glamor. But then, was living on the frontier ever glamorous? Working on small innovations, at the end of the day, is far more interesting than joining the bustle and hustle at an already-well-established corporation.
