It's a classic stereotype: whereas wellness in the East depends on holistic healthy living, in the West we focus on treatment. In other words, identify the problem, develop a solution, and mass-produce that solution to treat anyone with the problem.
But health experts have increasingly discovered that we all react to those problems and solutions in individual ways. What works for one person may not work for the next. And, especially for chronic illnesses, prevention whenever and wherever possible is critical.
