Seed stage

Keen Home, an automated, intelligent and digitally connected home startup, raised $1.52 million in seed funding, led by RMR Capital, with participation from R/GA Ventures, Bullet Time Ventures, NYU Innovation Venture Fund, Rugged Ventures, Galvanize Ventures, and Brand Foundry Ventures, as well as strategic investors American Family Ventures and Comporium.

Digital art marketplace Curioos raised $1.9 million in funding from an unnamed art and retail-related family office investor.

Social content aggregation platform Stackla raised $2 million in a round led by rampersand and other private investors.

Seen, which seeks to organize the real-time Web, raised $1.25 million from Horizons Ventures and KEC Ventures,  along with BoxGroup, Scott and Cyan Banister, Matt Rolandson and Sam Tripodi, Andrew Rasiej, Cantora Records, and Thatcher Bell.

Online dating website SingldOut.com raised $600,000 in seed funding from undisclosed investors. 

University Beyond, a platform for recruiting college brand ambassadors, raised $300,000 in seed funding led by Innovation Garden, with participation from two unnamed angel investors.

Jobbatical, a marketplace for short-term jobs, raised a €260,000 seed round led by SmartCap, along with Joakim Karske, Christopher Sier, Janis Rancans, Trind Investments, ImCap Finland, and Camelus Invest.

AdPushUp, an A/B testing platform built for web publishers and bloggers, raised $632,000 in angel funding from Kima Ventures, Krishna Jha, Ashim Mehra and Ravi Srivastava.

91mobiles, a product research site for gadgets, raised $1 million in a round led by India Quotient. Umang Kumar and Krishna Motukuri also participated.

Enlitic, a startup that uses AI to assist doctors in the diagnosis of diseases, raised a $2 million seed round led by Amplify with participation from Data Collective.

Healthcare software-as-a-service solution Bright.md raised a $1 million round of seed funding fro Seven Peaks Ventures, along with Portland Seed Fund and Oregon Angel Fund.

Photofy,  a social content creation app, raised $1 million from Capitol Broadcasting Corp, James Dondero and Michael Olander, Jr.

Business analytics company Tandem raised $950,000 from The Institute for Commercialization of Public Research, and other angel investors including Launa Stayer.

Early stage

Journalism startup Blendle raised €3 million in a Series A round from Axel Springer Digital Ventures and The New York Times Company.

Toy and crafting brand Seedling merged with e-commerce company P.S. XO and raised $7 million in funding from Upfront Ventures and Greycroft Partners. 

Whistle Sports, a YouTube network that focuses sports videos, raised $7 million in a funding round led by BSkyB.

Venture capital firm United Ventures raised $80 million for its oversubscribed debut fund. The LPs for United Ventures One include institutions, banks and fund of funds.

Adsquare, a Berlin-based mobile audience targeting platform, raised $4.3 million in Series A funding from Target Partners and existing investors. 

Data and analytics company Compass raised $2 million from NEA, Profounders, Crosslink, Tom Glocer, Banca Intesa, Oliver Rothschild, Compass investors, Steve Blank, Allen Morgan, Roger Krakoff, Rhodium, Erik Jansen and Amir Banifatemi.

WeSwap, a peer-to-peer travel money exchange, raised $7.5 million in a round led by IW Capital, with EC1 Capital participating.

 Wysada, an online retailer of home goods and interior furnishings in the Middle East, raised $5 million in a round led Badia Impact Fund, along with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council and existing investors.

Wireless power firm uBeam raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led Upfront Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Mark Cuban and Ludlow Ventures.

Soma, creator of biodegradable water filters, raised $2.2 million in a round led by Crosscut Ventures, along with Baseline Ventures, Forerunner Ventures, Lerer Ventures, Collaborative Fund, Cowboy Ventures, Vast Ventures, Mindful Investors, The 4-Hour Workweek’s Tim Ferriss, Rohan Oza, and Sukhinder Singh Cassidy.

E-commerce customer experience management startup User Replay raised $3.25 million in a round led by Episode 1, along with EC1 Capital, the FSE Group and previous angel investors.

Jongla, a cross-platform instant messaging app, raised a €3.4 million round from a group of top private investors including JSH Capital Oy, Ingman Finance Oy, Kontino Invest Oy and Holdington Ltd Oy.

RhodeCode, an enterprise software file versioning and collaboration solution provider, raised$3.5 million round from DFJ Esprit and Earlybird Venture Capital.

Capriza, a provider of mobility solutions for corporations and enterprises, raised $27 million from Andreessen Horowitz and Charles River Ventures, Tenaya Capital. Harmony Partners and Allen & Company. 

Visible Measures, a content advertising company, raised a $7 million round from General Catalyst Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures, DAG Ventures, Northgate Capital, Commonfund, and Advance Publications.

Print Syndicate, an apparel and home goods e-commerce company, raised$4.25 million Series A funding round led by Data Point Capital, along with Lightbank Capital, Vegas Tech Fund, CNF Investments and TechColumbus.

WeGoLook, a customized tasking and inspection services for online consumers, raised $1.75 million led by i2E along with Oklahoma Seed Capital Fund, OKAngel Sidecar Fund, The Seed Step Angels, and WeGoLook Founders Mat and Robin Smith and Karl Baldischwiler.

Krimmeni Technologies, a cyber-security firm, raised $11.7 million in Series A funding from Third Point Ventures and Pelion Venture Partners.

Segmint, a digital marketing solution, raised a $9 million funding round from undisclosed investors. 

IT incident management company BigPanda raised $7 million in Series A funding from Mayfield and Sequoia.

Indian car rental company Zoomcar raised $8 million in a funding round led by Sequoia Capital.

 

Late stage

Discount ticket marketplace ScoreBig raised $18 million in a round led by Hearst Ventures, along with participation from both new and existing investors.

Snapdeal, an Indian online marketplace, raised $627 million in a funding round led by Softbank.

Personalized comic strips app Bitstrips raised $8 million from Horizons Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. 

Online wealth management company Personal Capital raised $50 million in a funding round led by Corsair Capital, along with BBVA Ventures, USAA, IVP, Venrock and Crosslink.

Virtual keyboard app Fleksy raised $2 million in funding from Digital Garage, Eniac Ventures, Middleland Capital, Highland Capital Partners, Militello Capital, and other investment partners.

Ola, an Indian mobile cab booking app, raised $210 million in a funding round from SoftBank Internet and Media.

Credorax, a proprietary payment platform, raised $40 from Columbus Nova Technology Partners and Blumberg Capital.

Enterprise storage company SwiftStack raised $16 million led by OpenView Venture Partners as well as Mayfield Fund, Storm Ventures and UMC Capital.

Minted, a curated marketplace that connects consumers with designers, raised $38 million in a round led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation by Technology Crossover Ventures.

Digital Lumens, an intelligent LED lighting company, raised $23 million from Nokia Growth Partners, Aster Capital, Goldm

LiquidSpace, a real-time marketplace for professional meeting and workspace, raised $14 million in a round led by Roth Capital with participation from Shasta Ventures, Black Diamond Ventures and Lucas Venture Group, as well as strategic investors including Avison Young, GPT Group and Steelcase.

Cardlytics, an advertising an technology company, raised $70 million in a round led by Discovery Capital.

Limeade, an employee engagement platform for large corporation, raised $25 million from Oak HC/FT Partners. TVC Capital is also participated.

IMatchative, the company behind analytics company AltX raised $20 million in a round led by Wells Fargo & Company, Control Empresarial de Capitales, S.A. de C.V., David Bonderman and Andy Redleaf, with participation from Jeff Ubben.

Workplace collaboration tool Slack raised a $120 million round led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Google Ventures, along with previous backers.

Joyent, a container infrastructure company, raised $15 million in funding from Intel Capital, Orascom TMT Investments, El Dorado Ventures, EPIC Ventures, LGI Ventures and others.
