Cloud-based PHP solutions provider AppFog raised an $8 million Series B round led by Ignition Partners, with help from Simon Crosby and Matt Ocko, as well as existing investors Madrona Venture Group, First Round Capital, and Founders Co-Op.

Apprenda, the deploy anywhere Platform as a Service (PaaS) stack for .NET, closed a $10 million Series B round of funding led by Ignition Partners with participation from previous investors.

BankSimple secured $10 million in additional financing led by current investor IA Ventures and joined by existing investors and Shasta Ventures.

BigTime Software, Inc., provider of cloud-based productivity tools for growing professional services firms, raised $2 million in Series A equity financing from LTC Partners, Geneva Venture Investment Management and others.

Airband Communications, provider of fixed-wireless voice and data services to businesses in the U.S., signed an agreement with ABRY Partners, LLC, to provide $20 million of financing to further accelerate Airband’s growth both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.

Couchbase, a NoSQL database company, secured $14 million in a Series C round of financing led by venture capital firm Ignition Partners.

Rocket Lawyer, an online legal document service, raised $18.5 million in growth funding led by August Capital with participation from Google Ventures and Investor Growth Capital (IGC).

SmartDrive Systems, provider of fleet management and driver safety solutions, has secured $10.1 million of a planned $11.5 million round.

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers has led a $26 million round of funding in the Turkish fashion eCommerce startup Trendyol.com. Existing investor Tiger Global also participated in the round.
