Apptimize, an A/B testing platform for mobile apps, raised $2.1  million in seed funding from investors that included MG Siegler, Rich Miner, Paul Graham, and Charlie Cheever.

Tok Tok Tok, a local delivery startup that is the French version of Postmates, raised $2 million from undisclosed European angel investors. 

Korean Bitcoin cxchange Korbit raised $400,000 from angels  including Tim Draper, Naval Ravikant, David Lee, Barry Silbert, Pietro Dova, Michael Yang, and Jay Eum.

Resource Guru, provider of cloud-based team scheduling software, raised $870,000 from Index Ventures.

Virtru, a company dedicated to making it simple to keep private communications private, raised $4 million in angel funding.  

Petnet, a remote pet-feeder company, raised $1.125 million in a seed round from investors that included Grishin Robotics, Kima Ventures, SparkLabs Global Ventures, and Launch Capital.

Innoz, an SMS-based offline search engine, raised $500,000 in Seed funding from 500 Startups and other angel investors.

Smile Mom, an app connects mothers with others nearby, raised $1.5 million from angel, along with Albatross Investment, Capstone, and Fast Track Asia.

Enterprise app platform m›PATH raised $1.65 million in a seed round. The funding came from JUMP Investors.

 

Early stage

Telehealth service MDLIVE raised $23.6 million from Heritage Group, Sutter Health and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors.

StyleSeat, a marketplace for beauty and wellness services, raised $10.2 million in a Series A round led by Lightspeed Ventures, with help from Lowercase Capital.

Human resources software company Zenefits raised$15 million in Series A round from Andreessen Horowitz, Maverick and Venrock.

Early-stage venture capital firm Brooklyn Bridge Ventures raised $8.3 million for its second fund.  

Online shaving products company Harry’s raised $122.5 million from Tiger Global, Thrive Capital, Highland Capital, SV Angel and others.

Ahalogy, a platform for Pinterest marketing optimization, secured $3.1 million in Series A financing. Hyde Park Venture Partners and Origin Ventures co-led the round with participation from CincyTech, Hyde Park Angels, North Coast Angel Fund and Vine Street Ventures.

Online booking platform BookingBug raised $1 million in funding. The investment came from Deep Ventures. 

Fitness startup Fitmob raised $9.75 million from Mayfield Fund, Silicon Valley Bank, and angel investors.

 

Late stage

Docker, the commercial entity behind the open source Docker project, closed a Series B round of $15 million. The round was led by Greylock Partners, with  Insight Ventures, Benchmark Capital, Trinity Ventures and Jerry Yang also participating.

Earlybird Venture Capital closed a  new early-stage fund called Earlybird’s Digital East Fund. The fund is some $110 million, with a target of $130 million.

BuildDirect, an e-commerce site for home improvement DIYers, raised a $30 million Series B round led by Mohr Davidow Ventures, with help from BDC Venture Capital.

Adallom, a provider of SaaS security, raised $15 million in Series B funding in a round led by Index Ventures, with participation from Sequoia Capital Israel.

Stealth mobile security startup Bluebox Security raised $18 million in a Series B round led by Tenaya Capital, with help from Andreessen Horowitz, Andreas Bechtolsheim, and SV Angel.

Intercom, a platform for companies to provide personalised customer responses online, raised a Series B round of $23 million led by Bessemer.

Native advertising startup Sharethrough raised $17 million from Elevation Partners, Silver Creek, North Bridge and Floodgate. 

, which provider distributed in-memory database technology for real-time Big Data analytics, raised $35 million in Series B funding led by Accel Partners. Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital and Data Collective, as well as several private financiers, also participated. 

Mobile messaging company Nexmo raised $18 million in its Series C round of funding led by Sorenson Capital, with participation from Intel Capital and NHN Investment.

Social data startup 4C raised $5 million in a Series B round. The funding came from Jump Capital.

Aorato, an Israeli cyber-security start-up, raised $10 from Accel Partners, Mickey Boodae, Rakesh Loonkar and Innovation Endeavors.

Indian real estate portal CommonFloor.com raised Rs. 64 crores in Series D funding from Accel India and Tiger Global.

Fon, a global WiFi sharing network, raised $14 million (10.3 million Euros), led by Qualcomm Ventures.

Mendix, an app platform company that focuses on the enterprise, raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Battery Ventures with participation from Prime Ventures.

Content marketing platform NewsCred raised a $25 million Series C funding led by InterWest Partners.

Fashion e-commerce platform Lyst has raised $14 million in a Series B round led by Balderton Capital. DFJ Esprit and Accel Partners also invested.

RedMart, an online grocery service based in Singapore, raised $5.4 million in a round led by Eduardo Saverin, along with Steve Melhuish, Jani Rautiainen, Meng Weng Wong, Wee Teng Wen and Lion Rock Capital.

Online payments company Stripe raised $80 million in Series C funding, led by Founders Fund, with Khosla, Sequoia and Allen & Co. also contributing. 

Zepp Labs, creator of wearable tech for monitoring sports performance, raised $15 million in Series B funding. GGV Capital led the round with participation from Legend Capital,Bertelsmann and Cherubic Ventures.

Cloud-based visualization software provider Chartio raised a $2.2 million round from Avalon Ventures.

Kareo, which sells cloud-based medical-office software and services, raised $29.5 million in a round led by Greenspring Associates, with participation from OpenView Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank.

Question and answer site Jelly raised a Series B round from Greylock Partners, with participation from Spark Capital. The amount that was invested was not disclosed.

GoEuro, a multi-mode travel search engine, raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Lakestar and an unnamed angel investor from the travel industry.
