Online payments system Braintree raised a $34 million Series A round from Accel Partners.
The Clymb, a flash sale site designed exclusively for outdoor gear and accessories, raised a $2 million Series A round of funding, led by the Oregon Angel Fund and Walden Venture Capital, with help from existing investor J Allard and other individual investors.
Freelance job search site DoNanza raised $1 million in funding from Innovation Endeavors, AfterDox and others.
Music discovery service Hitlantis closed a $1.5 million angel round.

HealthGuru Media, provider of health information videos online, raised $6 million from a syndicate that includes new investor Western Technology Investment as well as existing venture backers Castile Ventures and Village Ventures.
