AnyPerk, a platform that provides employee perks and discounts to companies, raised $3 million in funding from Tony Hsieh, Tien Tzuo and Stephen Ross, among other high-profile investors.

E-learning platform Coursmos raised $530,000 Imperius Group and an unnamed angel investor.

Identity verification service BlockScore raised $2 million from a group that included Battery Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Atlantic Ventures, Boost VC, Y Combinator and several angels.

Social trip planner startup CreateTrips raised $600,000 in seed funding from Butterfly Ventures, Frontier and Rkapital.

Accelerated online learning company One Month raised a $770,000 seed round from Winklevoss Capital, Innovation Works, Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Start Fund, Oliver Jung, Lew Moorman, Y Combinator, FundersClub, and WeFunder.

Parking app Parko raised $1.1 million in seed funding from SparkLabs, Global Ventures, OurCrowd, and European angel investors.

Aerospike, a flash-optimized in-memory NoSQL database, raised $20 million in Series C funding led by New Enterprise Associates, along with Columbus Nova Technology Partners, Alsop Louie Partners, Regis McKenna, and others.

Learning management system Schoology raised a $15 million round of funding led by Intel Capital along with  Great Oaks Venture Capital, Great Road Holdings, FirstMark Capital and Meakem Becker Venture Capital.

Analytics startup RedOwl Analytics raised $4.6 million from Marc Benioff, Igor Sill, Kevin Plank, Christian Lawless, Attractor Ventures LLC, Propel Baltimore, and Veterans’ Opportunity Fund.

Curiyo, a content discovery and curation tool for publishers, raised a $1.9 million seed round from investors including OurCrowd, Cedar Fund, Morton Meyerson, Kima Ventures, Tom Glocer, Gigi Levy, JumpSpeed Ventures, and other private investors.

 

Early stage

Epoxy, a provider of tools for video content creators to help distribution, raised a $6.5 million Series A financing round led by Upfront Ventures and Time Warner Investments.

Systems and security management company Tanium raised $90 million from Andreessen Horowitz. 

Smart light bulb startup LIFX raised a $12 million Series A round of funding from Sequoia Capital.  

Patronage platform Patreon raised $15 million from Index Ventures, Charles River Ventures, Thrive Capital, Freestyle Capital, Atlas Ventures, SV Angel, UTA, CAA, Alexis Ohanian, Garry Tan, Aaron Harris, Sam Altman, Joshua Schachter, David Marcus, Stan Chudnovsky, Joshua Reeves and Jenny Haeg.

Sapho, a company that says it’s “reinventing how employees access information,” raised $3 million from Raymond Tonsing, Bloomberg Beta, Brad Jones and Andy Rankin.

Tasktop Technologies, a provider of Software Lifecycle Integration, raised an $11 million a Series A round led by Austin Ventures, along with Yaletown Venture Partners.

Helpshift, a CRM for mobile apps, raised $10 million in a round led by Intel Capital with Visionnaire Ventures, True Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners participating.

ManyWho, a cloud workflow company that helps businesses build enterprise apps, raised an undisclosed amount of funding from CorvisaCloud.

Deliveroo, a London-based food delivery platform, raised £2.75 million in a round led by Index Ventures with participation from Hoxton Ventures.

Vessel, the stealth startup from former Hulu CEO Jason Kilar, raised $75 million from Benchmark, Greylock Partners, and Bezos Expeditions.

Modern Meadow, a company developing novel biomaterials, raised $10 Million in Series A financing. The round was led by Horizons Ventures. 

Moi Corporation, the company behind Japanese live stream app TwistCasting, raised $5 million from Sinar Mas Group with East Ventures participating. 

 

Late stage

Peer-to-peer car rental service RelayRides raised $25 million in Series B funding, led by Canaan Partners, along with August Capital, Google Ventures and Shasta Ventures.

Grand Rounds, a directory for the nation’s top doctors, raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Greylock Ventures, with participation from Venrock and Harrison Metal Capital.

Fingerprint, a creator of kids’ mobile play-and-learn networks, raised $10.85 million from undisclosed investors. 

CloudPhysics, provider of predictive analytics for virtual datacenter management, raised $15 million in a round led by Jafco Ventures with participation from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Mayfield.

Online discretionary wealth manager Nutmeg raised $32 million from Tim Draper, Daniel Aegerter, Charles Dunstone and Schrodersand Balderton.

Venture capital firm Lerer Hippeau Ventures closed its fourth fund, with a total of $62 million.

Kreditech, a big data based consumer loan and scoring technology provider, raised a $40 million Series B funding round led by Värde Partners, along with Blumberg Capital and Point Nine Capital.

Scivantage, a provider of information-enabled software for the financial services industry, raised $20 million led by Comerica Bank and ORIX Ventures, along with Brown Brothers Harriman Capital Partners and Edison Ventures.

Skyhigh Networks, a cloud visibility and control company, raised $40 million in Series C financing led by Greylock Partners and Sequoia, with participation from salesforce.com.

Online food network Tastemade raised a $25 million Series C round led by Scripps Networks Interactive, with help from Liberty Media.

IgnitionOne, a cloud-based digital marketing technology company, raised $20 million in Series B funding led by SoftBank Capital with participation from ABS Capital Partners and Brown Savano.

Wickr, a communications app that focuses on security, raised a $30 million Series B led by Jim Breyer. Alsop Louie, Juniper Networks, the Knight Foundation and Riverwood also participated. 

Couchbase, a provider of an NoSQL database, raised a $60 Million series E round of financing led by WestSummit and Accel Growth Fund. All existing investors also participated.

WISErg Corporation, a bio-clean technology company that converts food scraps into organic fertilizer for sale to farmers and consumers, raised $5 million in funding from private funding sources.

Venture capital firm First Round Capital raised its fifth fund, a $175M round from existing limited partners.

Mobile sensor-maker mCube raised a $37 million Series C financing round from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, MediaTek, iD Ventures America, DAG Ventures, Keytone Ventures, SK Telecom (China) Ventures and Korea Investment Partners.

Meet You, a Chinese app for women to track their periods, raised $35 million in funding led by SIG. Matrix Partners China and China Renaissance K2 Ventures also participated

Social shopping site Wish raised $50 million in a round led by Founders Fund, with Formation 8, GGV Capital, Jerry Yang, Legend Capital and others participating.

Truveris, a platform for pharmacy pricing and benefits analysis, raised $12.75 million in a Series C round led by Canaan Partners, along with New Leaf Venture Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners, New Atlantic Ventures and First Round.

CrowdTwist, a loyalty and analytics solutions provider, raised $9 million in Series B funding. StarVest Partners led the round with participation from Fairhaven Capital and SoftBank Capital.
