DoubleDutch–what you might consider a Foursquare for the enterprise– secured $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Lightbank, the investment fund created by Groupon co-founders Bradley Keywell and Eric Lefkofsky.

Early-stage

Design marketplace 99designs raised a $35 million Series A round led by Accel Partners, with participatiom from several others.

Deals and discount platform CampusLIVE closed $3.1 million in new funding from Highland Capital Partners and Charles River Ventures.

CloudPassage, a security SaaS company, completed a Series A round of financing led by Benchmark Capital.

Online gifting site Giftiki raised a $1 million round led by Tim Draper, with participation from Transmedia Capital, Crosslink Capital, and Goldhill Capital.

Inspirato, the “next generation destination club,” closed $11 million in new capital.

Social gaming developer Kobojo completed a $7.5 million (€5.3 million) first round of funding led by Endeavour Vision and IDinvest Partners.

Social advertising network MakeMeReach closed a €3 million ($4.3 Million) round with three French funds: Alven Capital, Siparex and UFG-Siparex.

Rich media advertising company Crisp Media raised $6 million in growth capital from existing investors Meritage Funds and Intel Capital, along with EDBI, an investment firm headquartered in Singapore.

Digitalsmiths, provider of video search and discovery products, closed an oversubscribed $12.5 million expansion financing round led by Technicolor, with all existing investors participating.

Encoding.com, a video encoding service provider, raised a $2 million infusion from current investors, led by Metamorphic Ventures.

Evolv, a platform optimizing the hiring process, raised a $15.75 million Series C funding round led by GGV Capital with participation from existing investors Khosla Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
