First, a foreword from Wellington Partners‘ Frank Boehnke, the VC that will be judging the competition alongside a panel of people – myself, Bambi Francisco and Maria Molland (head of Corp Dev at Thomson Reuters).
If you impress Frank enough, you might get some funding from the UK VC. We have nine companies involved in the competition right now. I know there are more companies out there who can step up to this competition and make a really great name for themselves. Not to mention that even if they don’t win they would have had the opportunity to get exposure site across the Vator.tv network – a strongly-focused community of entrepreneurs and like-minded Web 2.0 enthusiasts. These people are the ones who will help drive innovation inside a company infrastructure to give its operation a larger platform to thrive on.
Vator.tv certainly wouldn’t be anywhere without its companies, especially when VC’s such as Wellington Partners are so kind to have such a great involvement in the competition. If this sounds like something your company should be involved in then firstly, you will need to register a profile at Vator.tv in order to participate: http://www.vator.tv/pitch/new
Here is a guide on how to register a profile at Vator.tv, courtesy of Product and Community Manager at Vator, Meliza Solan:
If you are just a passing web 2.0 enthuasist who wants to share their opinion on the companies involved with one simple click of the button you can help move a UK companies dreams one step closer!
Thanks for the continued interest and support in this competition, and I look forward to seeing your UK based Web 2.0 company soon!!
