Memory raised $1M; NowRx raised $7M; Icon raised $9M; Closed Loop Fund raised $10M

Memory: Memory, a startup out of Norway and maker of time tracking app Timely, has raised $5 million in further funding. Leading the round is Concentric, and Investinor, with participation from existing investor SNÖ Ventures. The company had previously raised $1 million in 2016 from 500 Startups, and SNÖ. Read more

NowRx: NowRx is a pharmaceutical company that is On-Demand and offers prescription delivery to patients within an hour. NowRx has raised $7 million in Series A funding through the SeedInvest crowdfunding platform. Read more

ICON: Icon is a construction technologies company leading the way into the future of homebuilding by using 3D printing to make major advancements in affordability, building performance, sustainability and customizability. Icon has raised $9 million in seed round led by Oakhouse Partners. Read more

Closed Loop Fund: Closed Loop Fund is a social impact investment fund that provides cities access to the capital required to build comprehensive recycling programs. Closed Loop Fund has raised $10 million from Amazon, which produces a massive amount of cardboard and packaging waste every year. Read more

Mrs Wordsmith: Mrs Wordsmith is on a mission to illustrate the English language, so kids fall in love with words and with learning. Mrs Wordsmith has raised $11 million in Series A funding led by Trustbridge Partners, with participation from earlier investors Reach Capital and Kindred Venture Capital. Read more

Cognata: Cognata provides driving validation platform for the autonomous vehicles industry.Cognata reproduces the sensor input of a real vehicle in a reality grade city model in order to generate relevant edge case and accelerate the development and validation of an autonomous vehicle. Cognata has raised $18.5 million led by Scale Venture Partners. Read more

Smule: Smule develops music-making apps that connect people. The company was founded to enable anyone to create, discover, love, and enjoy music. The company's products include AutoRap, Magic Piano, Guitar!, I Am T-Pain, Ocarina, and more. Smule has raised $20 million from Times Bridge. Read more

Crux Informatics: Crux Informatics offers an informatics platform and secure cloud service help firms focus on what really matters. Crux Informatics has raised $20 million in Series B funding from Two Sigma, Citigroup and earlier backer Goldman Sachs. Read more

SevenRooms: SevenRooms is a reservation, seating and guest management platform for hospitality operators. Sevenrooms has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from the Amazon Alexa Fund. Read more
