Banckle Collaborator newsletter for March 2011 is available now. In this newsletter, you would find all the information about newly supported features, bug fixes and performance enhancements that we made during this month.
This issue aims to showcase the exciting new developments and features in Banckle Collaborative and Social Apps, and highlights key performance tweaks and feature enhancements across the product line. Our main focus this month was to extend functionality from your favorite collaborative and social applications to wider audiences via different platforms, as well as enable you with more control over your social and collaborative experience.
We are putting major efforts towards Banckle Marketplace Apps that will enable you to extend functionality from your favorite Collaborative and Social App to 3rd Party platforms and applications such as WordPress, Shopify, Joomla!, Drupal, etc. This allows you to not have to re-invent the wheel, and instead seamlessly integrate these Banckle Marketplace plugins to enhance the user-experience, effectively and outreach of your e-stores, blog or website.
As most of you already know, Banckle Live Chat can easily be installed on your WordPress page by uploading and integrating a WordPress-specific plugin. This plugin can be downloaded from the Banckle Live Chat Plugin Directory. For more information, please check out our Marketplace tools.
What’s new in this month’s newsletter?
- Banckle Online Meeting Plugin for Mac: Like Windows users, Banckle Online Meeting has released a separate plugin for MAC users that supports online meeting, web conferencing, screen and application sharing related features for MAC users as well.
- Video Tutorials for Banckle Collaborative and Social Apps: Video tutorials for Banckle Online Meeting, Banckle Live Chat and Banckle Remote Access have already been created and set live. These video tutorials are designed to guide users through performing typical and frequently-performed activities using Banckle Collaborative Apps.
- Permanent Meeting URL: Using Banckle Online Meeting, users can create permanent online meeting URL that helps them to schedule meetings that are set to recur daily, weekly or monthly and share an easy to remember direct meeting URL with attendees.
- HD Video Conferencing: Banckle Online Meeting now allows presenters to broadcast video in 480p, provided they have a compatible resolution webcam attached to their Macs or PCs. This allows you to enjoy Video Conferencing via Banckle Online Meeting with crystal clear sound and superb image quality.
- Automatically Synchronizing SharePoint files with Banckle File Sharing: Banckle File Sharing now allows users to automatically synchronize files in a SharePoint Document Library with their Banckle File Sharing account.
- Sending File(s) from SharePoint to Banckle File Sharing: SharePoint Users may also select specific files in their SharePoint Document Library and send these files to their Banckle File Sharing account.
- Banckle Remote Access and Windows UAC access: Using Banckle Remote Access, users can perform unattended remote assistance and remotely access Windows machines without worrying about UAC.
- User Interface and Workflow Tweaks in Banckle Online Meeting: Previously troubling features and certain workflow elements have been revisited and improved in Banckle Online Meeting from a usability and ease-of-use aspect. Banckle Online Meeting users are now assured of a much more enriched and user-friendly web-conferencing experience.
- Custom HTML in Banckle Feedback Capture Header and Footer: Banckle Feedback Capture now allows you to use custom HTML in its community page header and footer. This along with other usability tweaks should really allow you to personalize your own Banckle Feedback Capture forum.
- Subfolder support in Banckle File Sharing Widget: Banckle File Sharing now allows visitors in your webpage/blog to upload files in a specific subfolder that they can choose via the widget - and allows you to organize files in your Banckle File Sharing account much better.
