Sweet Escape raised $6M; TrapX Security secured $18M; TrapX Security closed $18M

Sweet Reason Beverage Co: Sweet Reason Beverage is a CBD-infused beverage company. Sweet Reason Beverage has raised $2.5 million in seed funding from Lerer Hippeau. Other backers include RiverPark Ventures, Max Ventures, and Subversive Capital. Read more

Sweet Escape: Sweet Escape is a global AI driven photography platform with tens of thousands of photographers that offers photoshoots for consumers and businesses. Sweet Escape has raised $6 million in Series A funding co-led by Openspace Ventures and Jungle Ventures. Read more 

Kameleoon: Kameleoon is the professional reference of A/B testing and web personalization, two essential practices for optimizing the conversion of its websites.  Kameleoon has raised €5 million from Odyssée Venture and earlier investor SGPA. Read more

TrapX Security: TrapX Security provides deception-based cyber security defense that rapidly detect, deceive, and defeat advanced cyber attacks. TrapX Security has raised $18 million in funding led by Ibex Investors, with participation from BRM, Opus Capital, Intel Capital, Liberty Technology Venture Capital and Strategic Cyber Ventures. Mercato: Mercato is an online grocery marketplace that connects consumers with local merchants. Mercato has raised an undisclosed amount of funding led by Greycroft, with participation from earlier backer Loeb Enterprises. Read more

Singapore Life: Singapore Life provides digital life insurance services. Singapore Life has raised $90 million investment in funding from Sumitomo Life Insurance, with the major life insurer in Japan receiving 25 percent of the business in exchange for its check. Read more 

Century Therapeutics: Century Therapeutics is developing novel allogeneic living drugs for oncology that overcome the limitations of first-generation cell therapies. Century Therapeutics has raised $250 million in funding. Backers include Bayer, Fujifilm Cellular Dynamics, and Versant Ventures, which created the company. Read more

Ola: Ola operates a mobile technology platform that integrates city transportation for customers and driver partners. Ola  has raised $250 million in Series B funding for its electric vehicle unit. The funding reportedly comes entirely from SoftBank. Read more
