Acorn Biolabs raised $3.3M; Alluxio raised $8.5M; BenchPrep raised $20M; Foretellix raised $14M

 

Immersive Games Lab: Immersive Games Lab is developing the next generation of immersive group gaming.  Immersive Games has raised roughly £2.5 million in seed funding led by Index Ventures, with participation from Sweet Capital and JamJar Investments. Read more  

Acorn Biolabs: Acorn Biolabs is a Biotechnology company. Acorn Biolabs  has raised $3.3 million in seed funding from Real Ventures, Globalive Technology, Pool Global Partners and Epic Capital Management. Read more

Theta Lake: Theta Lake is an AI-based supervision for audio and video recording compliance using automated detection and workflow for risks in digital content. Theta Lake has raised $5 million in seed funding led by Neotribe Ventures, with participation from Firebolt Ventures. Read more  

RECVUE : RECVUE helps enterprises unlock their recurring revenue growth potential by making it easier for companies to book, bill, forecast and manage new contracts, upsells, renewals, adjustments, change requests and complex pricing rules. RecVue has raised $5 million co-led by Cota Capital and Epic Ventures. Read more  

Alluxio: Alluxio is an open source project from UC Berkeley AMPLab. For the past three years, we have been working to revolutionize the way data is stored, accessed, and managed by focusing on a memory-centric architecture. Alluxio has raised $8.5 million in Series B funding.Seven Seas Partners led the round, and was joined by investors that include Andreessen Horowitz. Read more

ReKTGlobal: ReKTGlobal, the fastest-growing business authority in esports and competitive gaming. ReKTGlobal has raised $10.8 million in Series A funding led by Nick Gross, founder of Gross Labs. Read more  

Innovaccer: Innovaccer is a disruptive healthcare Big Data startup in Silicon Valley. With it's Big Data platform 'InData', Innovaccer is helping large healthcare organizations  to adopt data driven healthcare operations and transform into the value-based care world. Innovaccer has raised $11 million led by M12, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and Westbridge. Read more

Foretellix: Foretellix is a developing a comprehensive verification framework for Intelligent Autonomous Systems. Foretellix has raised $14 million in Series A funding, including from 83North, Jump Capital and Nextgear Ventures. Read more  

Spell: Spell is an infrastructure for AI and Deep Learning. Spell has raised $15 million co-led by Eclipse Ventures and Two Sigma Ventures. Read more  

BenchPrep: BenchPrep offers a learner success platform to improve engagement and outcomes for learners. BenchPrep has raised $20 million in Series C led by Jump Capital and Owl Ventures. Earlier backers NewView Capital and Revolution Ventures also participated in the round. Read more

Bolder Surgical: Bolder Surgical serves health care providers by developing surgical instruments that allow access to confined and delicate structures. Bolder Surgical  has raised $27 million led by River Cities Capital Funds, with participation from Westwood Management and Providence Ventures. Read more  

ScaleFactor: ScaleFactor combines innovative digital tools with financial expertise to bring a fresh approach to accounting and finance. ScaleFactor has raised $30 million Series B round of funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Canaan, Broadhaven Ventures,Firebrand Ventures and multiple angel investors. Personio: Personio offers a holistic HR management and recruiting solution for Startups and SMEs. Personio has raised $40 million in Series B funding led by Index Ventures, with participation from Northzone and Rocket Internet’s Global Founders. Read more  

Alation: Alation is a platform that makes data more accessible to individuals across an organization. Alation  has raised $50 million in Series C funding led by Sapphire Ventures with participation from new investors including Salesforce Ventures.. Read more  

Asana: Asana provides a leading work management platform that helps teams organize and manage all of their work. Asana has raised $50 million in Series E funding. Generation Investment Management, an investment firm co-founded by Al Gore, led the round. Other participants in the funding include 8VC,Benchmark Capital, Founders Fund, Lead Edge Capital, and World Innovation Lab. Read more  

Niantic: Niantic builds augmented reality platform for current and future generations of AR hardware. Niantic has raised $245 million in Series C funding. IVP led the round, and was joined by aXiomatic Gaming, Battery Ventures, Causeway Media Partners, CRV, and Samsung Ventures. Read more
