Connected Robotics has raised roughly $7.8 million in Series A funding led by Global Brain Corporation. Other participants in the round include 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund, UTokyo Innovation Platform, Sony Innovation Fund, and 500 Startups JP. Read more
The Nue Co.: The Nue Co. deliver supplements made from foods. The Nue Co. has raised $9 million in Series A funding. Waldencast led the round, and was joined by Unilever Ventures, Redo Ventures and Columbia Care. Read more
ShopShops: ShopShops is a live stream, interactive cross-border shopping marketplace that connects retail stores globally with Chinese consumers. ShopShops has raised $14 million in Series A funding, according to an SEC filing flagged by Axios. Backers include Union Square Ventures, Forerunner Ventures and TCG Capital.
Waresix: Waresix is a logistics platform for freight-forwarding, warehouse, and land transportation. Waresix has raised $14.5 million in Series A funding led by EV Growth, which is a growth-stage fund co-run by East Ventures. Other participants in the round include SMDV, the investment arm of Indonesia corporation Sinar Mas, and Singapore’s Jungle Ventures. Read more
Unifly: Unifly is a software company with a platform for the safe integration of drones into the airspace. Unifly has raised €17 million in Series B funding from Deutsche Flugsicherung, SFPI-FPIM, Terra Drone, QBIC and PMV. Read more
15Five: 15Five develops cloud-based performance management software designed to help employees grow and develop into their best selves. 15Five has raised $30.7 million in Series B funding led by Next47, the strategic investment arm of manufacturing giant Siemens. Others in the round include Matrix Partners, PointNine Capital, LAUNCH Fund, Newground Ventures, Bling Capital, Chaifetz Group, and Origin Ventures, which had led 15Five’s Series A round. Read more
Dott: Dott offers dock-less, shared electrical scooters, and bikes as alternatives for short-distance travel. Dott has raised €30 million in Series A funding co-led by earlier backers EQT Ventures and Naspers Ventures, with participation from Axel Springer, Felix Capital, FJ Labs, and U-Start Club. Read more
