VuPulse: VuPulse is a leading text recognition company offering innovative advertising and intelligence solutions for networks, studios, and publishers. VuPulse has raised $1 million in Series A funding led by Florida Funders, with participation from Bridge Angel Investors. Read more

Backtracks: Backtracks helps podcasts, audio content creators, and brands know and grow their audience. Backtracks has raised $2.1 million in seed funding led by Moonshots Capital, with participation from Capital Factory, Sputnik ATX, Next Coast Ventures, Bull Creek Capital, and BNSG Capital. Yapily: Yapily is an 'API Only'​ technology provider whose mission is to enable innovative products to connect to banks, empowering a new generation of financial services. Yapily has raised $5.4 million in seed funding co-led by HV Holtzbrinck Ventures and LocalGlobe. Read more

Pillar: Pillar is a mobile app that helps people manage their student loans. Pillar has raised $5.5 million in seed funding led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Rainfall Ventures, Great Oaks VC, Financial Venture Studio, Kairos, and Day One Ventures. Read more

xtraCHEF: XtraCHEF is a SaaS cost management platform for the restaurant industry to improve productivity and increase profits. XtraCHEF has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding led by MVP Capital Partners, with participation from earlier backers ValueStream Ventures and Laconia Capital Group. Read more

eSUB Construction: eSUB Construction Software offers the construction industry with a cloud-based project management software solution. eSUB Construction has raised $12 million in Series B funding led by Catalyst Investors, with participation from Revolution Ventures. Read more

TMRW: TMRW is revolutionizing in vitro fertilization with the first automated and robotic cryo-management platform devoted to IVF. TMRW  has raised $12 million in Series A funding. Special Situations’ Life Sciences Innovation Fund led the round. Read more

Abacus Insights: Abacus Insights designs and operates data management platform as a service and analytics application ecosystem. Abacus Insights has raised $12.7 million in Series A funding led by CRV. Earlier investors 406 Ventures and Echo Health Ventures also joined the round. Read more

BigTime Software: BigTime Software develops cloud-based time-tracking, billing, and project management software. BigTime Software has raised $14 million in funding led by Wavecrest Growth Partners, with participation from MassMutual Ventures and Migration Capital. Read more

Welkin Health: Welkin Health is a patient management software that guides teams through their care, focusing attention on the people who need it, when they need it. Welkin Health has raised $17.5 million in Series B funding. Altos Ventures led the round, joined by return backers Thrive Capital, Red Swan Ventures and Asset Management Ventures. Read more

Equalum: Equalum develops and markets a platform for real-time data ingestion and processing focused on Big Data for enterprises. Equalum has raised $18 million in Series B funding led by Planven, with participation from United Ventures and earlier investors Innovation Endeavors and GE Ventures. Read more

OwnBackup: OwnBackup provides secure, automated, daily backups of SaaS & PaaS data, as well as sophisticated data, compare & restore tools for disaster recovery.  OwnBackup has raised $23 million in Series C funding. Insight Partners and Vertex Ventures co-led the round and were joined by Innovation Endeavors, Orzyn Capital and Salesforce Ventures. Read more

Swimlane: Swimlane security operations management software delivers purpose-built workflow tools, including automated incident response. Swimlane has raised $23 million in Series B funding from Energy Impact Partners. The company has now raised $35 million altogether. Read more

Whole Biome: Whole Biome is a microbiome company focused on enabling better patient care through targeted equilibration of human microbiomes. Whole Biome has raised $35 million in Series B funding led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from True Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Mayo Foundation and AME Cloud Ventures. Read more
