AnyMind raised $8M; Evol Technologies raised $10M; Songtradr raised $12M

AnyMind: AnyMind is an app that can be installed on any website as a widget, enabling pay-per-second video and audio consultations. AnyMind has raised $8 million in new Series B funding from VGI Global Media, a Thailand-based firm that specializes in outdoor media, and Tokyo Century, a financial services firm that has invested in Grab, among others. Evolv Technologies: Evol Technologies, a startup that focuses on the evolution and next-step visualization of such common internet based jobs as web-design, software development. Evol Technologies has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Horizons Venturesafter acquiring a spinoff from Sentient Technologies (and its CEO, Michael Scharff). Read more

Henry The Dentist: HENRY The Dentist is a state-of-the-art mobile dental practice, delivering an in-network employee benefit. HENRY The Dentist has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Forerunner Ventures, with participation from Brand Foundry and Trail Mix Ventures. Read more

Songtradr: Songtradr is an online marketplace designed to facilitate music licensing for films, TV shows, ads, apps, and other media. Songtradr has raised $12 million in Series B funding led by WiseTech Global CEO Richard White. The company has now raised $21.5 million altogether. Read more

Solugen: Solugen has developed a unique process for the synthesis of hydrogen peroxide inspired by principles of cancer biology. Solugen has raised $13.5 million in Series A funding. Fifty Years and Founders Fund co-led the round, and were joined by investors including Y Combinator. Read more

Keatz: Keatz is a network of restaurants that provide contemporary dishes for delivery. Keatz  has raised €12 million ($13.6 million) in funding, including from Project A Ventures, Atlantic Labs, UStart, K Fund and JME Ventures. Read more

Avidbots: Avidbots builds indoor autonomous robotics systems to solve business problems in real world environments. Avidbots has raised $23.6 million in Series B funding led by earlier investor True Ventures. Other returning investors include GGV Capital, SOSV, Real Ventures, and 500 Startups Canada. New investors include Next47, BDC Capital, and KCPL. Read more

Imago BioSciences: Imago BioSciences is  dedicated to translating state-of-the art science into novel medicines for the treatment of diseases. Imago BioSciences has raised $40 million in Series B funding led by Omega Funds. Other participants in the round include Highlight Capital and earlier backers Frazier Healthcare Partners, Amgen Ventures and MRL Ventures Fund. Read more

Marqeta: Marqeta provides access to a developer friendly Issuer Processor API for commerce innovators. Marqeta is raising $250 million on a valuation of $1.875 billion. Read more
