Read more...Starting a business is a daunting task. There is time, money, employees, supplies, advertising, and finding an office. However, the most important aspect of any business is dealing with the customer. Too many businesses focus on getting as many customers as possible. Unfortunately, these same business do not put too much effort into keeping the same customers. I have worked for a few companies, and they have all been operated the same way: "How much cash are we depositing?" is the only question of the day. In my mind, the real important question is, "How can we keep our existing customers and have these same customers work for us?". Work for us meaning referrals of new customers. It is far easier to keep existing customers than to solicit new customers and less expensive. Treat the existing customer properly, and new customers will coming knocking at your door.
