Here's a little about Morck:

I am a(n):
Entrepreneur

Companies I've founded or co-founded:
KeyIn Inc.

Companies I work or worked for: Playhaven, Curriculet, SimGHOSTS

If you are an entrepreneur, why? I want to change the world.

My favorite startups: Tesla, Slack, Github

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation? Seeing something no one else sees and than testing, building, and proving it. Is both the most frustrating and most rewarding part.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make? Not paying enough attention to what is actually working vs what they think should be working

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

You better love the struggle because it doesn't get easier
Love what you are building or it isn't worth it
Trust yourself

Full bio

Ever since I can remember I have always been building things. From a wall to wall ever changing LEGO city in my bedroom as a child to, working with my dad to build cabinets and decks, helping teenage girls on probation learn how to build meaningful relationships, to finally, designing actual buildings.

In my career, where I am still constantly building, I have focused my interests on companies building a better bridge between traditional markets and agile technologies.

Now, creating my own company I am able to tie all of my building experiences together and apply my best lesson: Successful building relies on successful consumer adoption. KeyIn is the first step to creating a much-needed bridge between the consumer and innovation in B2B.

KeyIn Inc. is competed at the Splash Health. The top eight of the competition will compete live on stage at Splash Health on Feb. 23 at Kaiser Center, Oakland. Register here.

From buildings and bridges to MRI machines, It’s easy to forget how much we trust our world to “just work.” But the truth is 50 year old sourcing processes are resulting in dangerous, expensive, and sometimes fatal mistakes.

The problem is poor communication. But our current system doesn’t allow for sourcers, end users, and manufacturers to have the transparency and level of communication they need to drive innovation, and ultimately safety and success, in their industries.

The breakdown happens during the purchasing process:

  • Vendors (manufacturers, distributors, and service providers) need better access to their global audience and a direct line of communication to their end users.

  • Purchasers need reliable, relevant information from trusted sources.

  • Practicing Professionals need a practical way to share their knowledge critical in driving future innovation and avoiding critical errors.

Our mission at KeyIn is to make it easy for information to flow globally between everyone involved in big ticket purchases; especially that trusted opinion.

Today, we provide a platform that is collecting purchasing and industry data never seen before by industry analysts and our mission is to make it available to as many people as possible.
