In the post-Covid drive for live events, ticket platforms are jumping at the opportune market time
Read more...Google always starts the new year with new product announcements and this one is no exception. Google annonced today on its blog that Chromecast, its popular streaming media devices will embed its technology into speakers, sound bars, and A/V receivers.
What's different with Google Cast and other devices is that it streams your music directly from the cloud instead of from your phone, therefore retaining its sound quality. It promises that the listener will not have to experience drops, stuttering or disruptions of its music stream — but "just crystal clear sound exactly the way the artists intended*."
Another advantage is conservation of your battery life. Since the audio will be directly pull from the cloud and not your phone or mobile device, it will not strain the battery. That's huge.
Google Chromecast also works with the most popular apps including Deezer, Google Play Music, iHeartRadio, NPR One, Pandora, Rdio, TuneIn and plans to expand its list.
Chromecast speakers from leading brands such asLG, and HEOS by Denon are on the horizon but you'll have to wait until the springtime.
I'll make sure to keep you posted.
Happy New Year!
