Apple is set to launch Joint Venture, a Genius Bar for businesses; Eventist launched a new calendar

Click Forensics has acquired display ad verification technology provider Adometry and changed its company name to Adometry.

 

Apple is expected to announce this week the launch of Joint Venture, a sort of Genius Bar service for businesses. Charging $499 for five users (and another $99 for each additional one), Apple will send a product specialist to help employees troubleshoot their Apple products.

 

Boxee closed a $16.5 million round of financing from new investors Pitango and Softbank, with participation by prior investors General Catalyst, Spark Capital and Union Square Ventures.

Qype, a location-based reviews and recommendation service, acquired Munich-based Cooledeals.de. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
