Oztalay remarked, “Local business marketing through the Internet has become a marketing tool for the local business to reach local consumers through web searches and mobile searches. In an effort to reach more businesses faster we have opened up our first affiliate program that is being managed through Clickbank. We are excited about this new opportunity to develop relationships with Internet affiliates and open up a new revenue stream for them as well.”

The Internet affiliate’s commissions for each signed up client is 50% of net sales, which starts with a $60/month fee to the client. Clickbank takes a 7.5% + $1 fee on all sales and your 50% will be based after the Clickbank fees. The entire affiliate program is managed by Clickbank. Clickbank will monitor all sales coming from the Internet affiliate and the payments are sent to the Internet affiliate by Clickbank.

The service to local businesses (large or small) is help setup their accounts at these various websites, then claim the listing, followed by updating the listing for accuracy, which is then followed by managing the listing for marketing information on going each month (video, photos, coupons, events, etc) and monitoring for consumer reviews. If there are any duplicate listings anywhere SmartFinds will either claim and use them in favor of the client or delete them. Data accuracy is an important step in all of this along and needs to be maintained at multiple local listing websites.

Oztalay added, “Local businesses do not have the time resources to do the ongoing maintenance required for local business marketing at multiple local listing websites. Managing the consume reviews is only one part, but the frustrations from problems adds to their burden that turns this into a process requiring their precious time. Our service uses our expertise and experience to navigate multiple local listing websites and help the local business use this new local marketing tool.”
