The discussion – intended to be heavy on what’s happening in the world of venture capital and how startups should navigage the waters – ended up focusing a good portion of time on Meerkat.
Meerkat is a live-streaming app for Android and Apple that let’s anyone take live videos and share them. If you download the app on the Apple Store, it will say that you can share these live videos with your Twitter followers. The conversation about Meerkat was good timing since the startup had just raised $12 million in a Series A round, led by Elman.
