Hilary has over 10 years of experience working with individuals with a wide range of concerns including trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use, self-esteem, stress, motivation, health and wellness, anger, parenting, coping with life challenges and adjustments to life changes. She has worked with individuals on an outpatient and inpatient basis within community agencies, private hospitals, the Department of Veterans Affairs, private practice, and online therapy.

Her passion is to help clients move forward by taking the steps needed to move in the direction they want to. To do that, she uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. As she recognizes everyone's journey is different, she tailors her approaches to the specific needs, goals, and situations of each individual. She works with each person to develop and practice coping skills to manage stress and stressful situations throughout life. She believes in finding the strengths of each of her clients, and using these strengths to adapt, cope, and grow.

Hilary believes the basis of any life-changing journey is a strong therapeutic relationship, and she enjoys spending time getting to know each of her clients to foster that support.
