Great article and stats. I would really be interested in knowing what the difference in compensation for a social media manager working within a start up environment, would be approximately. I am thinking that it would all depend chiefly on the amount of funding. Also, "understanding of community and social media ROI relative to their organization’s activities." is a great way to figure out what counts as appropriate compensation in situations where a company has limited resources (both monetary and manpower) - any ideas/feedback as to how accurate/inaccurate my assumptions may be?
