Currently Marketing Director at WorkCompass.com where we help managers be awesome, employees be happy(er) and companies be more productive. Clients include Musgrave, Uniphar, Enterprise Ireland, Ibec and IMI. Previously, Alan was Director of Product Marketing (Activation and engagement) at WhatClinic.com overseeing the rollout of a new clinic management system to over 20,000 clinics around the world. As Creative Director, Alan led the requirements and design of the new system. Founder and Director of Marketing at Toddle where he grew the B2B user base from 0 to 30,000 including Disney, Oxfam and Diagio. Founder and Managing Director of Spoiltchild with over 10 years experience creating and implementing marketing and design campaigns for start-up and blue chip clients including Virgin America, Jet Blue, Eircom and RTE. Passionate about all things marketing, Alan has lectured at the Dublin Web Summit, Dublin Institute of Technology, European Institute of Management Practice and judged the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD) awards among others. Alan is the author of two successful marketing books on lead generation and conversion. His latest book has been nominated for best small business marketing book award. He is a graduate of business development in DIT but more importantly studied film and almost broke through to Hollywood playing snooker player number 2 but they didn’t show his good left side .
