Peter Conley

Peter Conley has over 20 years of experience in equity research and equity capital markets focused on the early identification of important, "game-changing" trends.  Since joining MDB in 2003, Mr. Conley has been credited with being among the first analysts to identify emerging growth opportunities in China and the first to uncover accounting irregularities at Fannie Mae.  He has been a regular guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and frequently featured in the media including Pension & Investments, The Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Forbes, Investors Business Daily, Reuters, BusinessWeek, Institutional Investor, New York Times, South China Morning Post, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe, NEDO in Japan and Financial Times in London.

In addition, Mr. Conley is regarded as a thought leader in the emerging field of nanotechnology and has been a keynote speaker at World Nano-Economic Congress, NanoCommerce, CANEUS/NASA, Foresight Institute and National Nanotechnology Initiative conferences.

Prior to MDB, Mr. Conley co-founded The Analytiq Group, an independent research firm focused on emerging and enabling technologies ranked in the 90^th percentile for investment performance and accuracy by Investars and Integrity Research Associates. 

In 1999, Mr. Conley was co-founder of E*Offering, the investment bank of E*Trade, where he served as Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets.  From 1991-1998, he was Head of Institutional Equity Sales at Roth Capital Partners and began his financial career in 1988 with Lehman Brothers in Los Angeles.
