Ken Shuman, Vice President Ken Shuman brings more than 11 years of high-tech public relations experience to the Horn Group’s San Francisco office. Ken started his career in the enterprise software market and during the last five years Ken has found a balance between consumer and high technology. During his career in Boston, NYC and San Francisco, Ken has worked with established blue chip companies such as IBM, Sun and Fujifilm and emerging start-ups such as Jumpcut, Genius.com and Pageflakes. Ken's main focus is building and implementing public relations programs including product launches, thought leadership campaigns, media relations, analyst relations and speaking and award programs. Previously, Ken was an Account Director at Bite Communications where he was responsible for Sun's developer tools and their open source strategy. Ken also played a critical role in launching a handful of consumer based start-ups such as Become.com, Jumpcut and Trulia. Prior to Bite, Ken was an Account Manager for Text 100. At Text 100, Ken was a key member of the IBM Software Group and led the digital camera portion of the Fujifilm account. Ken's favorite public relations memory is flying the Fujifilm blimp from NYC to the US Open Tennis tournament while working with VH1's Top 20 video countdown crew. Ken has a B.S in Business Communications from Bentley College.
