Zippity raised $2.6M; Kaloom raised $7.6M; Visor raised $9M

Zippity: Zippity provides on-site car care at the customer’s place of work through a seamless, tech-enabled user experience. Zippity  has raised $2.6 million in funding including from A3Ventures, BP Ventures and LaunchPad Ventures. Read more

Kaloom: Kaloom is an emerging company developing a fully automated, programmable data center networking software solution that will disrupt how cloud and data center networks are built, managed and operated for enterprises, cloud providers, gaming companies, data center operators and 5G wireless providers. Kaloom raised $7.6 million in funding co-led by Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Somel Investments, with participation from MBuzz Investments. Read more

Visor: Visor is an online personal tax advisor that provides year-round tax advice to optimize a user's finances. Visor has raised $9 million in Series A funding led by Defy, with participation from Unusual Ventures, SVB Capital and earlier investors. Read more

Emerge: Emerge is making supplemental insurance easy to understand and accessible to everyone. Emerge has raised $20 million in seed funding led by Greycroft. Read more

Bellami Hair: Providing African American business women with healthy hair that stands up in a professional environment. Bellami Hair has raised $20 million from Houston-based Cathexis Holdings. Read more

MapAnything: MapAnything provides a suite of “Where” apps and platform services to drive productivity and planning across many business needs. MapAnything has raised $42.5 million in Series C funding, including from GM Ventures, Emerge executive chairman Andrew Leto, and earlier backers Salesforce Ventures, Greycroft, Harbert Growth Partners and David Stern. Hippo: Hippo allows homeowners to get a quote and purchase home insurance online in 60 seconds or less, save up to 25 percent compared with traditional insurers, and obtain smarter coverage for modern households. Hippo has raised $70 million in Series C led by Felicis Ventures and Lennar Corporation. Read more

Well Data Labs: Well Data Labs focuses on solving the problems the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry has with managing, analyzing, and reporting completions data. Well Data Labs has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding led by Cottonwood Venture Partners. Read more

Oncology Analytics: Oncology Analytics provides health plans with an evidence-based, technologically driven approach to utilization management. Oncology Analytics has raised more than $100 million in Series A funding. The investors included Advantech Capital, PAG, OrbiMed, Heritage Provider Network and Janchor Partners. Read more

Rocket Lab: Rocket Lab delivers a range of complete rocket systems and technologies for fast and low-cost payload deployment. Rocket Lab has raised $140 million in Series E funding led by earlier backer Future Fund, with participation from Greenspring Associates, K1W1, ACC, and other earlier backers Khosla Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, DCVC, and Promus Ventures.
