Companies I’ve founded or co-founded:
If you are an entrepreneur, why?
I want to change the world.
What’s most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
My motto is “get it done”, many times this means long days and a lot of time for small rewards (frustrating) and other days it equates to big rewards (exhilarating). I’ve learned to keep my eye on the ball and enjoy the roller coaster ride!
What’s the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?
Not taking any time off to focus on all of life
What are the top three lessons you’ve learned as an entrepreneur?
1) Don’t get buried in one idea for too long. Litmus test and iterate quickly.
2) Don’t neglect relationship-building, it’s not just about the end results, tend to the garden
3) Make sure good people in your organization are taken care of, they are priceless
