People with can't do attitudes are a cancer to a startups. By contrast, people who can get comfortable with being uncomfortable will excel !

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1) Surround yourself with people that are smarter than you. Really.
2) Everyone I know who has been successful has worked really hard, no easy way to be successful, no shortcut
3) Don't be full of shit. Everyone can smell it.

Full bio

Todd is the CEO of Lijit Networks which he founded in 2006. Prior to his leadership role at Lijit, Todd co-founded Raindance Communications where he also served as CTO and Chief System Architect. While at Raindance, he lead the team which designed and built a global multimedia architecture for web conferencing that helped grow the company from start-up to publicly traded company (NASDAQ: RNDC) with annual revenues in excess of $80M.

Prior to becoming a serial entrepreneur, Todd built hardware and software to test experimental aircraft at NASA, and developed systems to automatically provision telephony services for some the nation’s largest RBOC’s.

Todd received his BS in electrical engineering technology from Central Missouri State University.
