I am a(n):

Entrepreneur

Companies I've founded or co-founded:
ZAZUM Inc, ANM Design, NYIDA
Companies I work or worked for:
Google, Reputation Defender
If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I wanted to shop TV shows.

My favorite startups:

Reputation Defender, Mint, Zazum

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Frustrating: People that think they know more about this business than I do after spending five minutes thinking about it. Rewarding: that ah-hah moment when someone sees the technology work for the first time and suddenly "gets" it.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

The No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make is not doing what they can with what they have, right now.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

Never hold a business meeting in a restaurant (you'll end up paying). Figure out who's buying and who's selling before going into a meeting. Just keep going--never give up.

Why am I still doing this?

It's the only thing that has kept me completely engrossed--I've never once been bored with this company.
