Sandino Núñez

I am finishing my degree in Computer Science at the University, I work as Software Engineer. I build and maintain infrastructure and programs to support data collection, ETL and analysis. I am passionate about BigData problems, currently I am doing my first steps with NoSql, MapReduce, Hadopp, Hive and others tools. I have strong mathematical background with ability to understand algorithms and methods from a mathematical viewpoint and an intuitive viewpoint. I like to finding the simple, elegant solutions to the tough problems. Hence, I strive to understand the first principles across different abstraction layers, from database to HTML. I strongly advocate clean, easy to read code, and I listen to the experienced and the rebellious ones for the best possible outcome. Frustrated by own experiences with broken, slow software, I do everything I can to optimize for user experience and system performance. I am passionate about teaching, hence am always willing to help or mentor fellow teammates and so I work as teacher of Computer courses at University. Jack of all trades, master of a few.
