Rich Scudellari is a partner in the Corporate and Securities group and co-managing partner of DLA Piper’s Silicon Valley office. His practice encompasses a broad range of corporate, securities and financial areas, emphasizing strategic counseling and negotiations in areas critical to his clients’ needs. He has focused on representing companies (high tech startups through multinational corporations) and venture capital and other private equity investors, in many areas, including venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, strategic alliances and corporate governance.

Legal 500 recognizes Mr. Scudellari for his venture capital and emerging companies practice. His more than 25 years of experience in Silicon Valley includes major negotiations and transactions on behalf of companies and investors in the electronics, information technology, clean tech, software, Internet, health sciences and biotechnology industries. Mr. Scudellari has negotiated hundreds of acquisition and financing transactions. He has served on the board of directors of both public and private companies.
