Director: Pirelli Spa February 2003 - May 2007 (4 years 4 months)

As Director for all companies and subsidiaries in the Pirelli Group, I was responsible for anticipating, preventing and dealing with threats that might affect the company’s material, immaterial and human resources, as well as contributing to guaranteeing the continuity of business operational processes by anticipating events, supporting their management, detecting the causes and solving critical points with a view to costs/benefits and transforming risks into a competitive advantage for the Company. In the context of my work, I favoured the introduction of automated innovative systems for risk management and Business Continuity, that could be completely integrated in business processes and interfaced with the SAP system. 30 resources reported to me and 20 managers functionally.

IT Manager :  Telecom Italia November 2001 - January 2003 (1 year 3 months)

I was Security Manager for the IT Telecom Italia company and responsible for the protection, safeguarding and business continuity of the computer infrastructure for all companies in the Telecom Italian Group.

IS Manager: Pirelli March 2000 - October 2001 (1 year 8 months)

I worked in the Security Department, dealing with computer and information security for all companies in the Pirelli Group, looking after the standards of their infrastructures, defining procedures, analysing risks and critical points with a view to prevention, accident management and Crisis Management.

Captain: Italian Army September 1989 - February 2000 (10 years 6 months)

As a career official coming out of the Modena Military Academy, I was able to take part in many operations abroad in humanitarian missions, occupying posts of command in Logistics departments in the transport and supplies area, as well as roles managing computer security in multinational brigades. During this experience, I was able to consolidate my specific skills in the Risk Analysis and Crisis Management area.
