I like being involved in building web sites and mobile apps for large scale markets. A good software product is a balance of what the customer needs, what the business wants, and what can be built at a given resource level. Balancing these often competing interests on high volume products with multiple stakeholders is what I find most interesting. High volume justifies greater (back-end) complexity and more things to balance, which means more fun to me. I have been mentoring and managing people in the tech space since 1999, and I still like to get my hands dirty too.
