I want to change the world.
Founder and CEO, Mukti Patel created Fashinspire as a reflection of her experiences in the design industry andher own desire to want to have a personal wardrobe that reflects who she is and what she likes. Mukti is aeconomics major who then graduated with a Fashion Design degree from Parsons School of Design in 2006.
She has experienced the entire spectrum of the design industry from working under various designers to monitoring high-end garment production directly in the factories where the garments and textiles are made.
As Creative Director at Better Methods Apparel Center (BMAC), the world’s first fashion CAD marking and grading service she has been involved in the important stage of the production for many high-end design labels from New York and beyond. BMAC's emphasis on quality enforced the importance of design execution in theearly stages of a fashion garment. To Mukti, a good-fitting garment is as important an aspect as the design itself.
Mukti and FashInspire plans to spread this message and help improve the quality and craftsmanship for women’s clothes and their wardrobes.
Mukti has used her creative skills in textiles to consult for designers, and help develop some of the best selling textiles in the industry. Along the way she has developed working relationships with several prominent luxury fabric stores in Manhattan’s Garment Center and has amassed a long list of top class designers many of whom have celebrity clients. The Fashinspire fashion design library will connect you to many of these designers and to the fabrics carried by these stores.
