Mr. Lamoureux is a Senior Manager in the Data/Analytics practice at Accenture responsible for supporting global big data efforts in pharma, life science, health care, and other industries. He has over ten years of experience working as a technology consultant in the health & life sciences sectors serving ambitious technology programs as a technology leader, architect, and IT project manager. He has extensive experience delivering on Solution Architecture engagements, Enterprise Architecture, Big Data and Analytics (including Hadoop, Data Visualization, BI, ETL), as well as transitions to Cloud Computing, and Enterprise 2.0 implementations. Mr. Lamoureux spent seven years with technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton serving federal clients in the health and life sciences field, including spearheading efforts for large longitudinal health data collection studies. Mr. Lamoureux led the practice for Social Media and Enterprise 2.0 technologies for professional health networks. He was the project lead for a critical public/private partnership network still in use today. In 2009 Mr. Lamoureux led his own firm focusing on international development of collaborative health networks. Mr. Lamoureux routinely speaks on leading technologies in areas including Big Data, and is a recognized expert in Semantic technologies. He teaches courses in data and technology at American University’s Kogod School of Business. Michael has his Bachelors in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, and a Masters in Business Administration from American University.
