Michele has a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a BA in Psychology from Boston College. She left a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position at the California Institute of Technology to be the first female scientist on reality TV, starring on the hit CBS show Big Brother. She was hired as Chief Scientist at marketing and ad startup engage:BDR where she formulated and marketed several top-selling health and beauty products. Michele is co-author of "Train Your Brain To Get Thin," a neuroscience of weight loss book. A medical marijuana advocate, Dr. Michele is the founder of the first coworking space for medical marijuana patients called The GreenHouse and co-founded GreenStone Labs.
