I am a(n):

If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I want to change the world.

My favorite startups:

Good, Wanelo, Lover.ly, Healthtap

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Promoting their product or company before they are ready. Refine your message, talk to friends and experts and find out what the people want. Don't tell them what they want.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Work/life balance is key. Startup founders work better with sleep.

2. Make them laugh and they'll remember you.

3. Talk to the people you know will say yes first. Cross-promote to build brand loyalty and partnerships fast.
