Michael Dubin is a passionate, creative executive & trailblazing brandbuilder.
Michael began his career as an NBC page, followed by an editorial stint at MSNBC news. He transitioned into Digital Marketing, developing custom content for brand advertisers including Gatorade, EA and Reebok on behalf of Time Inc., properties such as SI.com. Just before Dollar Shave Club, Dubin worked in the video seeding space, creating and driving engagement to branded content made by the likes of LG, Ford, Capital One, Taco Bell and other major brands.
Under his leadership, DSC has become a $150M business in less than 3 years, boasting 2.2M active members (as of September 2015). The company has been recognized with several prestigious designations and awards including two Webbys, a CLIO, and was selected to Ad Age’s 2014 Marketers AList, alongside major established brands such as Under Armour and Kohls.
He is a passionate about content, comedy, and entertainment; having studied Improv and Sketch for over 8 years at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NY. He has a BA in History from Emory University and lives happily in Venice, CA but misses the thunderstorms of the East Coast.
