Matthew Chagan joined Opera Software in 2014 as VP Corporate Development to help build out Opera's strategy in consumer content and services.
Prior to joining Opera, Matthew was a Principal at Trident Capital where he focused on investments in Enterprise Software, Mobility and Adtech. Matthew served as a board member or board observer at Appia, AccountNow, Bytemobile, mBlox and Merchant e-Solutions. In addition, he was actively involved with Trident’s investments in Brightroll, 2Checkout, Sojern and Teladoc.
Earlier in his career, Matthew was the Director of Finance at SOMA Networks, a wireless broadband systems company focused on selling hardware, software and services to telecom carriers. Before joining SOMA, he worked as an Associate in the Technology Investment Banking Group of Banc of America Securities.
