When people don't understand your vision because their brain works in a different way. I combat this through putting emphasis on communication - once you recognize that investors, developers, partners, and clients all use their brains in different ways, you can strategize around that.
Making an app for the sake of it. Please, I don't need anymore apps on my phone! Entrepreneurs also don't put enough emphasis on social skills and networking - product will always be #1, but networking should be #2.

Kate is a growth expert, startup founder, tech nerd, and social media aficionado. Kate attended Brown University and worked at top creative advertising agencies JWT and Publicis New York on clients Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson. Kate received her MBA at UCLA Anderson.

Kate has consulted and advised many startups in the Los Angeles area on growth, user acquisition, content marketing, strategy, and fundraising.
