I am a(n):

Entrepreneur

If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

Why pour your heart and soul into someone else's company?

My favorite startups:

Diggsy.com of course :-)

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Resisting change.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

Don't let time beat you. Make sure you never run out of elbow grease. Don't hold on to any one idea too tightly, be ready to make changes.

Full bio

By day, I am a full time Senior Network Engineer for a local computer company in Daytona Beach, FL. By afternoon I am a father of 4, husband of 1, acrobat and ministry leader.  By night, programmer extraordinaire.  Water it down, and I am a back-flipping, child rearin', wife lovin', keyboard hammerin', generally tired kind of guy.

Although somewhat commical, that sums me up pretty well.  Jesse & I have been working on Diggsy.com for almost 1 year now and several other projects for the last 3 years.  Diggsy.com has really been an outlet for the programmer in me.

Working in IT, I have opportunity to work with  various servers, networking, and storage infrastructures.  I have always been intrigued not just with the products that are seen client side, but also the standards that make those dreams a reality.  The on the ground, where the electricity meets the copper, rubber meets the road type stuff.  Just happens that this type of experience has been very synergistic.
