Jim Andelman is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Rincon Venture Partners.
Jim is currently in his fifteenth year as a VC. Before founding Rincon, Jim led software investing at Broadview Capital Partners, a $250mm Bay Area VC firm. Before BCP, Jim was at Alex. Brown, managing equity private placements and IPOs for software companies. Jim began his career at boutique strategy/technology consulting firm Symmetrix.
Jim serves on the Boards of CampusExplorer, DataPop, Divshot, Keen IO, Rentlytics, Shift, Steelhouse and Tradesy. He previously served on the Boards of Burstly (acquired by Apple), Cadforce (acquired by Neilsoft) and Packet Island (acquired by BroadSoft).
Jim received his MBA (first in his class) from the Tuck School and his BS (magna cum laude) from Wharton.
