Jeffrey is Founder and Managing Director of Laconia Capital Group, an early stage venture capital firm investing in late seed stage B2B SaaS companies. Laconia invests in startups solving immediate efficiency problems in markets, marketplaces and workflows. Laconia search's for entrepreneurs who demonstrate talent, passion, drive and ability to collaborate while remaining humble.
During his career, he has over 25 years of experience working in the media and technology space for companies such as CBS-TV, Cover Concepts, DoubleClick and Integrated Color Solutions where he had been involved in all aspects of business operations, which included developing strategic plans, running day-to-day operations and exploring private market funding alternatives.
Jeffrey currently manages a number of Laconia investments, including industry leaders such as TripleLift, ALICE and Localytics. He also serves on the Board of SyncOnSet, Homer Logistics, Spotfront and Advisor to AutoFi and C3 Metrics.
He received a Bachelor of Science, Tulane University and is a member of the President’s Advisory Council. He is a member of the New York Angels, Chairman for the New York City-Southern NY Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis, Board of Trustees at Project Morry. He is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Connecticut grassroots environmental non-profit, Friends of the Lake.
Jeffrey lives in New York City with his wife and three children and their dog.
