Jatin Khanna

Jatin works in Business Development at First Solar, primarily handling new client origination and technical sales. He helps educates new and existing clients on the benefits of thin-film CdTe solar PV technology. He also trains customers on proper modeling techniques for CdTe technology. He gained a strong understanding of CdTe PV through his year in the Performance Modeling group. He is very comfortable using PVsyst and Excel to model PV plant performance. Jatin has always had a strong passion for renewable energy, and is grateful to be working in the largest solar company in the world during such an exciting time of growth and learning for the industry. In addition to renewable energy, Jatin is also interested in energy policy, climate change, energy economics, and sustainable development. He firmly believes that a transition from a carbon economy to a clean economy is not only feasible in this century, but will promote economic growth, increase standard of living around the world, and ensure humanity's survival into the coming centuries.
