The most frustrating thing about innovation is the feeling you have something useful and cool but have trouble marketing it. When you finally manage to get through and find that what you've built really does help others is the most rewarding feeling you can get. Making decent money on your idea is a nice bonus.
Entrepreneurs often concentrate too much on perfecting the product/service and not on marketing/selling it to the people. Oftentimes it leads nowhere since they run out of funds and have to close the shop or others do the same thing but sell it better.
1. Learn to say "no". Only this will allow you to focus on the core idea and make it work.
2. Market your product/idea insanely quickly, even if you're convinced it's not ready yet. You'll find people willing to give it a try anyway.
3. If you're not a natural born salesman, get one as your business partner.
