Gregory Borchardt is Co-Founder of Caerus Ventures. Mr. Borchardt has nearly 20 years of experience running and investing in early stage technology companies.
Mr. Borchardt is a member of the Caerus deal team. He is responsible for new investments and operational due diligence. Mr. Borchardt is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Borchardt leveraged his extensive experience in consumer technology and hardware products to source, diligence and manage investments for Fund I. Mr. Borchardt is actively involved in the ongoing management of several portfolio companies, serving on the boards of Paper Battery Company and Skulpt.
Prior to Caerus Ventures, Mr. Borchardt was the Founder and Managing Partner of Oxygen Audio North America, a consumer electronics manufacturing company of high-end audio products including the “O Car”, the first car stereo that fully integrated the iPhone into a car’s entertainment system. Launched at the 2011 International CES Show, the O Car was both an i-Stage Technology Competition finalist and a 2011 CES Innovations in Design and Engineering Award winner. Prior to founding Oxygen Audio North America, Mr. Borchardt was the Founder and President of Adrenaline Technologies, which developed Turbo Charge™, the world’s first line of portable, battery-operated chargers for cell phones and other portable electronics devices. Mr. Borchardt began his career at Recoton Corporation, a leading consumer electronics manufacturer with more than four thousand products, under twenty-two brands. In 2008, Mr. Borchardt was named to the “40 under 40” list of top young executives in the consumer technology industry by Dealerscope Magazine.
Mr. Borchardt is an Endeavor Mentor, for Endeavor Miami, and he serves as an Advisor to the Brown University Graduate Program in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (PRIME). Greg is a Judge of the AlphaLab Gear National Hardware Cup, and Tech.co's Startup of the Year competition.
Mr. Borchardt received a B.A. in economics, organizational behavior and management from Brown University, and a MBA in private equity from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
